TECHNICAL AIRCRAFT PARTS SOURCING

Parts Sourcing Backed by Maintenance Control Experience.

More than locating a part number.

SkyTech combines focused supplier research with professional experience in aircraft maintenance, maintenance control, AOG coordination, and technical operations to help maintenance and procurement teams evaluate clearer sourcing and technical-support options.

Whether the requirement begins with a confirmed part number, an urgent AOG need, or a recurring technical problem, SkyTech brings a maintenance-informed perspective to the sourcing process.

How SkyTech Can Support Your Requirement

Aircraft Parts Sourcing

For clearly defined material requirements, SkyTech researches available supplier options and presents condition, supplier-represented documentation, availability, lead time, pricing, warranty, return terms, and applicable commercial information.

Technical Sourcing Support

When the required material is connected to a technical discrepancy, recurring event, previous removal, or uncertain sourcing path, SkyTech can review customer-provided context and help organize the technical and sourcing considerations before the next procurement decision.

Maintenance Intelligence

For repetitive defects or maintenance histories involving multiple events, removals, ATA chapters, or aircraft, SkyTech can discuss a separately scoped review focused on recurrence, patterns, and clearer maintenance information.

Technical advisory and maintenance-intelligence work is scoped separately when required. Scope, deliverables, fees, data requirements, and limitations are confirmed before work begins.

COMMERCIAL SOURCING

What SkyTech Reviews in a Sourcing Requirement

A successful parts transaction requires clear communication. For standard material requirements, a SkyTech sourcing response may review and include:

  • Available supplier options.
  • Supplier-represented condition.
  • Documentation represented as available.
  • Available traceability information.
  • Quantity and availability.
  • Estimated lead time.
  • Pricing.
  • Warranty information.
  • Return terms.
  • Commercial terms.
  • Shipping or logistics considerations when applicable.

Urgent and AOG Sourcing

When a requirement is time-sensitive, SkyTech can prioritize supplier research and available logistics information based on the customer’s stated urgency. Availability, documentation, lead time, and transportation remain subject to supplier and carrier confirmation.

DOCUMENTATION

Documentation Requirements Matter

Aircraft-part documentation can vary by supplier, condition, origin, transaction, and customer requirement. SkyTech reviews what a supplier represents as available and communicates that information with the sourcing option.

  • FAA Form 8130-3, when represented as available.
  • EASA Form 1, when applicable.
  • Manufacturer certification.
  • Certificate of Conformity.
  • Supplier trace documentation.
  • Batch or lot information.
  • Shelf-life information.
  • Warranty and return information.

SkyTech does not issue, authenticate, certify, or guarantee supplier documentation and does not make airworthiness or installation determinations.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

When the Requirement Begins with a Technical Problem

A part request may begin with a fault message, a repeated discrepancy, a previous component removal, an uncertain next step, or a time-sensitive AOG situation. For selected cases, SkyTech can provide a separately scoped technical review using information supplied and authorized by the customer.

  • Organizing fault and discrepancy information.
  • Reviewing customer-provided maintenance history.
  • Reviewing previous component removals.
  • Identifying recurring-event information.
  • Reviewing part-number or supersession considerations.
  • Identifying related sourcing questions.
  • Preparing clearer questions for suppliers.
  • Helping maintenance and procurement communicate the requirement.
  • Creating a structured technical case summary.
  • Supporting selected AOG information coordination.

SkyTech technical support is advisory and based on customer-provided information. It does not replace approved maintenance data, aircraft maintenance manuals, fault-isolation manuals, operator procedures, engineering instructions, regulatory requirements, authorized maintenance actions, airworthiness determinations, installation decisions, or return-to-service approvals.

MAINTENANCE INTELLIGENCE

From Individual Events to Recurring Patterns

Repeated write-ups, repeated removals, no-fault-found events, ATA recurrence, and tail-specific maintenance histories can be difficult to evaluate when the information is spread across multiple records. SkyTech is developing a maintenance-intelligence approach intended to help organize those events and identify patterns that may deserve further review.

PAFIS

Maintenance Intelligence Initiative — In Development

PAFIS is a SkyTech development initiative focused on recurring-fault and maintenance-history intelligence. The intended future capability is to help identify repeated sequences, recurrence windows, ATA-level concentration, removal patterns, and tail-specific event histories using customer-authorized maintenance data.

PAFIS is currently in development. It is not an approved diagnostic system, maintenance program, engineering authority, airworthiness tool, replacement for approved maintenance data, or guarantee of future failure prediction.

Potential future pilot discussions may be considered after scope, data availability, data-handling requirements, and product readiness are evaluated.

A Clear Path from Requirement to Support

Submit the Requirement

Send a confirmed part number, an RFQ list, an urgent material need, or a summary of the technical case.

SkyTech Reviews the Request

SkyTech determines whether the request is a standard sourcing requirement, a technical sourcing case, or a maintenance-intelligence discussion.

Scope and Research

For standard sourcing, SkyTech researches supplier options. For technical-support or intelligence work, the scope, available data, deliverable, limitations, and fee are confirmed before the review begins.

Receive the Response

The customer receives a quotation, sourcing options, a scoped technical response, or a maintenance-intelligence proposal depending on the selected service.

No technical advisory engagement begins until the scope and commercial terms have been accepted.

Built from the Maintenance Side of the Operation

Many sourcing transactions begin and end with a part number. SkyTech approaches the requirement from the perspective of aircraft maintenance and maintenance control—where component requests are often connected to discrepancies, repeated events, operational pressure, documentation needs, previous removals, and time-sensitive decisions.

That experience helps SkyTech ask better questions, understand the technical context provided by the customer, communicate more effectively with suppliers, and present sourcing information in a format that maintenance and procurement teams can evaluate.

  • Aircraft maintenance.
  • Maintenance control.
  • Maintenance-control supervision.
  • AOG coordination.
  • Technical operations.
  • Recurring-defect exposure.
  • Supplier and vendor coordination.
  • Communication between maintenance and procurement.
